Run for Rebekah

In honor of Rebekah Hoppel Salcedo, Run for Rebekah is a 3K fun run/walk/roll around the University of Arizona mall.

Proceeds from the run will go towards an endowed scholarship in Rebekah’s honor housed at the University of Arizona Foundation for the benefit of University of Arizona students.

This event is a fun opportunity to remember Rebekah, build community, and raise money to support students. There will be timing and awards for men and women in each age category.

All ages and abilities are encouraged to participate – furry friends on leashes welcome, but encouraged to start towards the back of the race.

    • 8 & Under, 9-10, 11-13, 14-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 & Over

  • Pre- & Post-Race "Athlete's Brunch" (granola bars, fruit, water, Gatorade, etc)

  • Chip Timed with Real Time Results and Photos provided by StartLine Racing on their Website or Mobile App (on Apple and Google)

  • Course set/marked by StartLine Racing to maximize your experience!!

Course Maps

Race Day Information

  • Race Day Check In and Registration will be available beginning at 9:00am at The Univ. of Arizona Mall.

    • We accept cash, check, and credit card on race day.  Race day prices are $40

    • All shirts sizes may not be available on race day (please register online before race day to guarantee your shirt size choice).

  • Wheelchair, stroller, and leashed pet friendly event.

    • All wheelchairs, stollers, and leashed pets must start at the back of the start line coral.

      • All participants are chipped time, so your time will not be affected by starting at the back of the coral.  Your  time will not start until you cross the start line.

  • Due to the common start/finish line there will be no bag check for this event.

  • February 15 2:00PM -  Packet Pick-Up at the UA Bookstore from 2:00 - 4:30pm

  • February 16 9:00AM -  Race Day Registration & Packet Pick-up Opens

  • February 16 10:00AM - 3K Begins

  • February 15 11:00AM - Award Ceremony Begins (approx)
